Ah, summer vacation, a time to relax by the pool, have a few tropical drinks, maybe sleep in a little bit and generally just avoid doing anything productive. Except for Haruhi who has to go out of town and help a family friend with their B&B/Hotel in a tourist town that gets absolutely busy during the summer. In a panic that Haruhi isn't around, Tamaki goes to said tourist town to bother our patient girl....aaaand the rest of the boys end up tagging along. Shenanigans ensue when the boys make it a competition to see who can board up in the last room available. Just when you think a certain someone wins the competition for good, a nice little twist happens. Listen to this very pretty-boy-competition-forward episode to find out who is the champion of refreshment!

A failing newspaper club at Ouran Academy is getting desperate to keep their club open. One more failed print and they'll be shut down for good! The president of said club, , Akira Komatsuzawa, sets his sights on the Host Club for some juicy and salacious content to boost ratings and popularity. Everyone in the host club sees this poorly veiled attempt by the paper boy...except for Tamaki who truly wants to help. Eventually the host club is persuaded enough by their whiny leader to go along with it. Will the newspaper-flingers reach their goal of made-up host club propaganda? Will Tamaki learn that not everyone is a real friend? Can we be sure that this whole show isn't just some fever dream? Find out in our next edition- I mean...just listen and find out in this episode.

Wonderland or not, our heroine is clearly trying to figure out some life choices here as she's dreaming about her first interview at Ouran Academy. Our little go-getter clearly charmed the pants off not only the admissions team but the host club full of cute and flirtatious boyos.As the dream goes on, the further we go into Lewis Carroll territory.
Will there be mushrooms that make you do funny things? Yes. Are we going to see someone dressed like a giant, hooka-smoking caterpillar? Absolutely! Will there be a Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumb?..errr..no, unfortunately. I mean, really Haruhi deals with a Tweedle-Dumb every school day. Looking at you, Tamaki.

True to his name, Honey Senpai is just full of sugar. So much so that he gets a little cavity that basically halts all sweets from being consumed within the walls of the host club for three whole days! Call it cruel, call it...idiotic, whatever you want, it's kind of a nothing episode, but it's fine. We apparently believe that cavities can be healed by not eating sweets for a couple of days. Makes sense. Actually, we're just hoping that a dentist was soon for that cavity, you know, like how it works in reality. Anyways, enjoy the shenans.

Oh, brother, where art thou? Well apparently he's lurking in the shadows of Ouran Academy and poor Kirimi is looking for him to defeat the scary monsters at home. Tamaki is, of course, mistaken for that dashing princely brother she's been searching for and he happily accepts. Truly, Tamaki insists on being an actual dad because she's so cute. Will Kirimi, realize that her actual brother is...maybe not quite what she is expecting? That maybe she has nothing to fear of the dark other than that weird cat puppet? Let's find out!

Picture a lovely weekend after a hectic week of work and/or school. You're productive, got some shopping done and life's good....also imagine your day being ruined by uninvited coworkers or classmates who crash your house and make your weekend busier than you planned. That's what Haruhi endures when the host club drops by her house on the weekend and basically insults her all day. Luckily her dad is there to help keep Tamaki in check even though Haruhi's dad and Tamaki are basically the same person. Poor girl has to deal with the same person all day. Well, there goes her weekend.

Where do we even begin other than this kind of trouble needs to stay far away from us forever. As much as the boys tend to be way too much, these Lobelia girls are just built different...in all the bad ways. The toxic femininity just exudes from their teenage pores as they ignore Haruhi telling them that she's all good there. Yes, these big-headed ladies scream from the mountains that they are for women...while proceeding to think they know better for other women and ignore their desires. It's finally here! Our fluffy beach episode that's actually..not so fluffy? A rare event indeed. We get to see our teenage heartthrobs hitting the beaches of Okinawa with a few select "princesses" from school. While they did have to put on a show for those girlies, it was a fun little excursion for the host club. Honey senpai and Haruhi were able to collect buckets and buckets of crustaceans for dinner, the host club decides to play a betting game to find out what Haruhi is scared of, Haruhi almost dies after confronting some bullies and we get to see Kyoya's dominant side (woo!). Did we sell it enough for ya? A lot happens in this episode so gird your loins for one of the most relevant beach episodes to an anime.

Simulation or not, who doesn't or didn't love to ditch school to go hang out poolside? That's what the host club decides to because it's absolutely exhausting wooing teen girls all the time. They need a little R&R. They deserve it and it's perfect timing because Kyoya's family just built a giant water park -ahem- I mean...spa and health..resort. Honestly, it could fit at least two Japans in it. It's huge. Ridiculously huge. So naturally it's time for some shenanigans and maybe a lesson in keeping really dangerous animals away from the public.

Ah, to be young and not knowing how to deal with feelings for another person. Time to educate the youths on how to properly woo that cute classmate that's leaving in a week to a totally different country. It's fine, it's cool. The host club has this in the bag. Or do they? They really don't know what they're up against when it comes to teaching this very rambunctious boy on just what a gentleman host is supposed to do. Will the world implode when some big personalities clash? Will the boy ever get the girl? Can we maybe not teach middle schoolers to be players?! I guess not...
